Palms

Palms are monocot flowering plants in the Palm family Arecaceae (or Palmae). There are more than 200 genera and thousands of species in the Palm family. Palms are mostly located in tropical and subtropical areas. These beautiful plants not only are great for landscaping, but also have great economical importance (date palms, coconut palms, etc.). Besides this display in the conservatory, Huntington's palm garden also has a great varieties of palm trees.
