In breeding season, the yellow patch of skin in front of eyes turns red. Snowy Egret lays 3-5 eggs each time. Both parents are involved to incubate the eggs and rise the young. It takes about three weeks for the eggs to hatch, and about a month before the hatchling can leave the nest.
